The 29 days of February did not feel long. For me, the days passed by quick and were good. Though work was on the higher side, it was fulfilling and kept me on my toes. I had busy weekends but in a good way.
I worked out, took care of myself, worked hard and also made some memories. Coming to think of things that happened over the month, I felt that they were in the right direction. And when they were not, I decided to roll with it.
Here are a few things (you know this list is never exhaustive) that made me happy and I am grateful for:

Over the last three years, I have had some great learnings. I am grateful for the team I was a part of and my boss. As the news of my move unfolded, I received a lot of appreciative messages. I feel valued at work and it is a blessing.

Between him and VT’s brother, they managed the hospital stuff and things got better. The doctor was also a good person and I am grateful my father-in-law was in good hands.

I loved walking on Church Street, made a road side chai stop, walked and talked and then took a quick metro ride back home. Public transport should be stronger and then is when it becomes a city’s lifeline. Bangalore has a long way to go but maybe someday.

Though I am always grateful for the company of good books. (If you pick up that book using my link above, know that I will earn a small commission with no additional cost to you.)

There was a lot of action this month. We are hunting for a house to call our own and that hunt should be over soon. Amidst the workout, we finished left over Rum cake from Christmas. At work, NK brought cup cakes for the team. I binged like there was no tomorrow. Can you believe I don’t have pictures? My organization hosted an event for women engineers and I got a day to learn new things. Grateful that my friends GK and SK were able to attend this event. That morning, I did a quick Gurudwara run and loved the morning calm.
My 366 days photo project on social media finished 60 days and it is not as hard as I had imagined. So thank you to those who have been following the updates.
So all in all, February was good. It had a few moments that I felt weak but the rest of the energy pulled me up. I am looking forward to March. This will again be an action packed month but let’s see.
How was your February? Did you feel that it was long with that extra day in hand?
